John, a lifelong Tampa resident, graduated from Jefferson High School in 1973 and went on to attend the University of Florida where he majored in English earning his Bachelor degree in 1977. In 1979 John returned to the University Of Florida College Of Law and earned the degree of Doctor of Jurisprudence graduating in 1982. Upon graduating from University of Florida Law School, John served his community for two years as an Arbitrator with the 13th Judicial Circuit in the Hillsborough County Juvenile Arbitration
Program, counseling first time juvenile offenders while also serving a clerkship for a private law firm. John opened his own personal injury law firm in 1983 and has been in private practice representing the injured continuously since that time.

John is a member in good standing of The Florida Bar, the Florida Justice Association and the American Justice Association. John is eligible to practice law in all Florida State Courts and the United States Federal District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

John is also a proud supporter of the Alzheimer’s Association and St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Aside from the practice of law, John serves as an Officer and Board member of the Sun Lake Professional Center Owners Association and has sponsored numerous youth league sports teams. He is an avid sports fan. He is married with two children. Kady who is a Graduate of the University of Florida and is a marketing and communication Director for a Tampa based company and Dallas, also a University of Florida graduate is now practicing law with John.
